How to play Daily Challenge

Beat today's shared Klondike deal: move all 52 cards onto the four foundations, each suit rising from ace to king.

The layout is classic Klondike, dealt from a seed derived from today's date. Every player in the world gets exactly this arrangement until midnight UTC.

The daily always plays turn 1: tap the stock to turn over one card at a time.
On the tableau, build downward in alternating colors, moving face-up runs together.
When the stock runs out, tap it again to recycle the waste as often as you like.
Only a king can fill an empty column, and aces start the foundations.

The deal is fixed, so New game is a fresh start on the same cards. Experiment freely.
Stuck? Undo back to the fork in the road instead of restarting from move one.
Win before midnight UTC to bank the day; the streak lives and dies by the calendar.

One deal a day, the same for everyone. The daily challenge deals a Klondike game from today's date, so the player next door and a stranger on the other side of the world are untangling exactly the same shuffle you are. Win it and your streak grows; miss a day and it resets.

How the daily deal works

The shuffle comes from the date itself. At midnight UTC the calendar turns, the date becomes a new seed, and the seed produces the day's deal. No one picks it or screens it, and turn 1 rules apply to everyone. The New game button re-deals the same cards, so you can attack the same puzzle until it cracks.

Unlike our other tables, there is no winnable deals only option here. The day's deal is the day's deal, and a rare unwinnable one is part of the shared experience, the same bad luck for everybody. Most days are beatable with care; the strategy guide helps on the stubborn ones.

Streaks

Win on consecutive UTC days and your streak climbs; skip a day or fail to win one and it resets. A win counts for the UTC date at the moment you finish it, so a late-night session that spills past midnight counts toward the new day. Streaks are saved in your browser on this device. Warming up first on the classic table or turn 1 never risks your streak; only this page's deal counts.

Daily challenge FAQ

When does a new daily deal arrive?

At midnight UTC, when the calendar date changes. The deal is derived from the date itself, so the switch happens for everyone at the same moment worldwide. Depending on your time zone that might be evening or morning; the panel above the rules always names the date you are playing.

Does everyone really get the same deal?

Yes. The day's date is turned into a number, and that number seeds the shuffle. The same date produces the same shuffle for every player on every device, with no account needed. If a friend plays today's daily, they faced exactly the cards you did.

Is the daily deal always winnable?

Not guaranteed. Regular tables here offer a winnable deals only setting, but the daily is deliberately unfiltered: the date picks the deal, whatever it is. The large majority of turn 1 deals can be won, and undo is unlimited, so treat a hard day as the real challenge.

How does the streak work?

Win the daily on back-to-back UTC days and the streak rises by one each day. A missed day, whether you lost or never played, resets it to zero. One win per day is all that counts; replaying after a win neither adds nor risks anything. The count is stored in your browser.

Can I play past deals or tomorrow's early?

No. Only the current UTC date's deal is served, and tomorrow's does not exist until the clock turns, since it is generated from the date itself. If you want more solitaire after today's is done, the classic table deals unlimited fresh games without touching your daily streak.
